If you have air ride suspension on your Crown Vic, Grand Marquis or Town Car, don't give it up just yet! See if all you need is a new air compressor. In my case that was all I needed on mine. The factory unit was rusted and rotted to the point it just gave up. I replaced it with this new unit and it fired up instantly. The unit is amazingly quiet for a compressor of it's size, and given where it sits under the air filter box. It's audible enough for you to know when it kicks on, but you won't really notice it unless you're listening for it.Installation is very easy. Post setup I think I spent maybe 45 minutes to an hour, but that isn't bad considering it was my first go at a setup like this. Someone more familiar with turning a wrench would probably have this done in half the time. The company's website has a link to a YouTube video walking you through the install, step by step, and you can see how you are supposed to do everything. If you're not afraid to work on or under your vehicle, this could very easily save you hundreds AND you won't be talked out of swapping out to regular shocks. This might not be the cheapest unit out there, but you need to consider:1. This is made by a company that specializes in automotive suspension systems. This is their bread and butter. They HAVE to meet or exceed your expectations.2. They're so invested in their products, they even give you a video to walk you through installing/replacing parts with their products, so there's little room for error on your part. All in all, worth the buy, and worth the time to do it yourself if you have the tools.
